A little of the class day
9.16.2003
This was the next morning, which was the first day of class.I was ready to start teaching.
But first, Erlinda and I dropped in on the restaurant downstairs, where we enjoyed breakfast together.
Here's my buddy Steve Borg at work.We took turns teaching, each of us delivering alternate modules.
In the foreground, it kinda looks as if the desks are set on steps, doesn't it?
It wasn't that way, just the varied colors of the carpeting.
Another view of Steve at work. I think this was just after lunch, because a few of the participants are not in their seats.I guess I forgot to have Steve take some shots of me while I was teaching, but I did teach, honest.
Four guys from the class: Nuno, from Portugal; Stuart from the United Kingdom; Ketil, from Norway; and Yngvar, also from Norway. They were waiting for the hotel shuttle.
Patricia Elliott-Gemmell was the coordinator for the event. She handled it impeccably.
Every need we had (microphone, CD's duplicated, phone arrangements, and more) was met efficiently and quickly.
Terrific lady.
Oh, and she has nothing wrong with her eyes. She just blinked when the flash went off.
Howard and Mark handled all the technical issues with the network and the computers for the class.Real good guys from the F1 Consultancy firm in the U.K.
There were very few issues, and they handled them almost as soon as they came up.
